ACCOUNT SYSTEM

What is D2Pass?

D2Pass is the account and payment layer used by multiple Japanese entertainment services. The important part is that the free D2Pass account and the paid memberships attached to it are not the same thing.

One account layer

D2Pass provides the account system used across participating services, so one D2Pass identity can be connected to more than one paid service.

The account itself is free

D2Pass's own help states that the D2Pass account itself is free. Charges come from paid partner memberships, movie services or other paid D2Pass products you choose to use.

Memberships stay separate

Cancelling one paid service is a service-level action. It does not require deleting the whole D2Pass account or cancelling unrelated memberships.

Account deletion is the nuclear option

D2Pass warns that deleting the account can invalidate registered services, remaining access, coupons and points. Do not use account deletion as a shortcut for cancelling one subscription.

THE SIMPLE MODEL

D2Pass is the account. The site membership is the product.

Think of D2Pass as the shared account and billing-management layer. Caribbeancom or a D2Pass bundle can be paid memberships attached to that account. Those memberships have their own price, billing period and cancellation state.

WHY THIS MATTERS

Most billing confusion starts by mixing up two different actions

Cancel a membership: stop that paid service from renewing.

Delete D2Pass: close the shared account itself, with wider consequences.

BEFORE YOU JOIN

Check the paid membership, not just the D2Pass login

The recurring amount, billing period and included sites come from the specific membership you choose. The Pick Club keeps those commercial facts on verified plan pages so the account explanation does not quietly turn into stale pricing copy.
